Indy Calland is a freelance curator, producer and creative researcher engaging with contemporary culture through moving image, exhibitions, public programming and design. She was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa and is based in London, United Kingdom.

A participatory workshop held at the Goethe-Institut London in response to Seat #12, a kinetic sculpture by Jenny Brockmann. Co-designed with practitioner Gülce Tulçalı and Goldsmiths researcher Dr Jacob Mukherjee, the session invited participants to reflect on spatial and social dynamics, power structures and collective agency.
