Rushes

RUSHES is a curatorial research project rethinking the making-public of film and moving-image works. Focusing on “rushes” – raw, unedited footage – it foregrounds creative intimacy, experimentation, and care often erased by institutional, market, and socio-political pressures. The project reactivates these materials, and even finished works, as living, reconfigurable media, using experimental, participatory, and hybrid display strategies to foster dialogue, agency, and resistance, while creating spaces for filmmakers to rethink, reframe, and test their works with new contexts, audiences, and modes of engagement.
